Realistically, Doom is a Republican aspiration, I believe we are all still safe. (somewhat) But a continual examination of the new Republican house can ill afford any of us being distracted.
Where do I begin. It was only recently the almost newly self-anointed Speaker of the House John Boehner was quoted saying that he would consider negotiating with our president on a tax break the would not extend the glorious indenturing Bush tax cuts blessed upon us from his Mt. Olympus administration. But Boehner isn't even coronated yet and he is already letting us know how he's going to kick the ball around, here's a hint: just like he always has. A narcissistic friend to big corporate interests as he as always been further attempting to push forward his own agenda's without concern for the middle class American. Here you go:

I'll let you watch this and think for yourselves....
Scared yet?
Now Comfortable in their "Shellacking" of the Democrats in the house, by the way, wasn't shellacking something we did in wood shop? ( I probably smelled to much lacquer thinner) you can can count on the same thing you had all along; A party enslaved to corporate interests just as it was before. Half of this wonderful country should be ashamed of itself on this most American of days and consider their spoiled asses in their instant world of gratification. Well guess what? You people(and you know who you are) vote with greed and not consideration with your country as a whole, just your small part of it. Is that really American? Perhaps neighborhoods can once again become competing tribes and we can be more regressive instead of progressive. Are ya feelin me Tea whatever you are's and the same for you right wing religious extremists who cant find the words church and state in the 1st Amendment in the U.S. Constitution your so proud of touting, try looking for the words: "Government and Religion", perhaps the meaning of those words won't escape you.
Regards,
C.
